Located in the picturesque Columbia Valley, Bighorn Meadows Resort sits on a 3.9-hectare site between the ninth and 10th holes of The Springs Golf Course in Radium Hot Springs, B.C.

Initially started in 2003, 123 condo units have since been built and sold. This mixed-use resort property has “a good selection of different condo ownership options for everybody,” said Randy Trapp, president, Luxury Resorts West Development Co. Bighorn Meadows Resort is a wholly owned subsidiary of Luxury Resorts.

These high-end luxury condos attract vacation seekers year after year from around the world. Owners and visitors enjoy a range of amenities, not the least of which is the championship golf course.

According to Trapp, “The year-over-year rental volume is up almost 19 per cent and bookings for 2016 are incredible.” The resort is pretty much full for this June, July and August.

This spring will see an expansion to the members' clubhouse and pool area, and a hot tub spa area will be added. This expansion is scheduled for completion by the fall of 2016.

The other exciting news at Bighorn Meadows is the Phase 10 development called The Residences—44 residential townhouses built in a duplex configuration along the 10th fairway. The side-by-side townhome style was chosen to “keep an emphasis on green space," said Trapp. "We want a good area of walking paths and open space between units.” The company's corporate philosophy is to provide an environment where families can enjoy the outdoors together and not feel they're confined or restricted.

Residences will be complete this spring.
