Rossland, B.C., welcomed a new retail outlet in April 2015. Curiosity Clothing and Gifts stocks fashion-forward women’s and menswear including accessories and underwear, with many items suitable for gift-giving. Store owner Trinda Bowman wanted to try something new while providing her family with a business that it could be proud of and enjoy growing over the years. Bowman appreciates the support and encouragement she’s received from the community, particularly from Stephanie Robinson, Tamara Rotach and Community Futures. “I love the pace and lifestyle of living in the Kootenays...and the people,” said Bowman.
