Anette Hagman of Bell Canada focuses on the positive, which may be why she has won four Top Performer awards in Canada-wide Bell competitions. Hagman is a corporate communications specialist at the Corporate Bell Store in Cranbrook, where she has worked for seven years. Her Gala Award events have taken her to Niagara Falls in 2009, Lake Louise in 2011, Orlando, Florida, in 2013 and this spring to Mayan, Mexico. Hagman loves working with people. “I like doing everything I can to make a positive impact on the people of the community,” she said. “I go above and beyond what my customer needs.” She even was an ambassador for Bell at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Virginia is a writer and editor with KPI Media. She is an avid outdoor recreationist in all seasons and has lived in the Kootenays for over 15 years. With degrees in the natural sciences, she has worked as a tour guide, an environmentalist, a writer, and an editor of books and scientific publications.
