Amy Cardozo comes from a family of foodies. She has always loved to bake, and she started Crumbs Cakery in Sparwood in 2012. Her business has evolved and grown over three years, and on May 6, 2015, Cardozo and her husband moved the operation from their Interior Health-approved home kitchen to a bright and pretty storefront at 562 - 2nd Avenue in Fernie. Crumbs Cakery & Café is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., serving freshly made salads, sandwiches, savoury hand-pies, soups, cakes and other sweet treats.
