Devin Kazakoff is the sole owner of Kootenay Flooring, a family-run business that opened in Invermere this summer. Kazakoff comes from a lineage of flooring professionals; he has been in the industry for 10 years, and his father has 35 years of experience.

"I am a local entrepreneur who has a passion for hands-on work and making a top quality finished product," said Kazakoff. "The company was founded on bringing the highest value and customer service to customers as possible, as well as delivering unique high-quality products not available elsewhere in the region. Some of our products you would have a hard time finding elsewhere in Canada. But we try to carry as many Canadian-made floors as we can."
