New Sparwood Remedy’s Rx now open

Sarina Beran, owner and operator of one of Sparwood's newest businesses, the Sparwood Remedy's Rx, located at the Greenwood Mall.

The Greenwood Mall is the home of one of Sparwood's newest businesses - namely the Sparwood Remedy's Rx.

The new pharmacy is owned and operated by Sarina Beran, a local Sparwood pharmacist with over 8 years of experience.

The brightly lit 1,600-square-foot retail pharmacy outlet is open Monday to Friday and is now entering its third month in business.

"The people of Sparwood have responded very positively to having another pharmacy in town," said Sarina Beran, owner/pharmacist. "We have been really busy right from the day we opened in early October."

One of her keys to success has been the fact that the pharmacy has an ever-growing inventory of premium health care products and services. Sarina Beran explains that in addition to being a pharmacist, she is a advocate for good natural health care, so her store offers a full line of vitamins and natural products.
