Last week saw the opening of the new Notary Public office of Tarralin D. Hanson on 9th Avenue in the Cranbrook.

Tarralin brings seven years of experience to the new business, experience she gained working at local notary and legal offices in Cranbrook.

She recently completed her Masters of Arts in Applied Legal Studies at Simon Fraser University and was commissioned as a Notary Public at a ceremony in Vancouver on June 10, 2015.

"It is exciting to complete my schooling, get my notary seal and open my own notary office in my hometown of Cranbrook," said Tarralin Hanson.  "I was born and raised in Cranbrook.  After being away for several years, my husband and I returned to Cranbrook about 10 years ago because we love the small town atmosphere of Cranbrook."

She believes her notary practice will stand out because it has a community centered focus and puts an emphasize on personalized client service.  "For example, we will go to a client's home, office or even the hospital if the person has mobility challenges.  All at no extra charge to the client," she says.

The new Notary office has two full time staff besides Tarralin -- Sandra LaBine is the conveyancer and Jenna Howarth office administrator.

"We have only been open only a few days and we are already getting lots of referrals from local colleagues in Cranbrook," she added.

The firm specializes in real estate transactions, estate planning and notarizations. Tarralin D. Hanson Notary Public is located at 16 - 9th Avenue South in Cranbrook and is open Monday to Saturday.
