The Burger King restaurant on Cranbrook Street in Cranbrook recently re-opened after a two-month closure which allowed for a complete interior and exterior renovation of the franchise.

Opened originally in 1995, and owned for the last four years by Mel Parmar, the Burger King location now sports a modern, contemporary look and feel.

"Burger King's corporate office requires franchises to keep their stores up-to-date and its been 20 years since it opened," said Mel Parmar.  "The newly renovated restaurant is more relaxing and has a warm, friendly atmosphere.  Our customers really like the new look and appreciate the little things we've added like cushioned chairs, free Wi-Fi, mobile device chargers at every table, and the inviting colour scheme and fresh new look." he added.

Local contractor Steeples Construction was the general contractor on the renovation project.

Some exterior signage still needs to be completed, when the weather improves, and small things like a new fireplace in the coffee lounge are still to come.

The restaurant has a more inviting dine-in experience, but still offers a fast and convenient drive-thru. The drive-thru is open 8 to 11 everyday.  The restaurant is open daily 8 to 10.  Burger King in Cranbrook employs 15 people and is located at 813A Cranbrook St North.
